Ive just recently got into lowriders and wanted to start a new project. I was considering using a BMX frame and pimpin it out with lowrider parts. Just wondering some peoples opinions on the transferability of parts. My main concern was I wanted to put some 20" 144 spoke gold coaster rims on. Will the coaster brakes transfer onto a bmx frame easily or am I going to have to weld something for the coaster braket to attach to. Also with the sizing of everything match or with the parts just not even fit? Secondly I was wondering about the sprocket and crank. Is there any specific sprocket bmx's use for any reason. Could I switch it over to a 1 piece crank? that would give me a lot more options for making the bike look good. Thanks Oh and im not planning on hitting jumps with the bike or anything just cause its a bmx frame. Its all just for looking good

I'll look at the bikes in the garage this week and see if they are compatible
